Silence is golden... Or so they say. It's been a year since our last post and we sincerely apologise. So much has happened between then and now. We'll be featuring other upcoming artist's artworks, blogs, and so many more things as life's been keeping us from creating our own artworks. We'll however try our utmost best to feature our own stuff. Fundi, our other admin/photographer has her own blog now! We're happy to be back ♕

Featured artworks

I thought it's about time we started featuring other up-coming artist's works. It would only be fair to do so. In this feature I've featured works by myself, and my fellow class mates.

"sometimes silence is the loudest kind of noise"~Bassey Ikpi

My post is long overdue, and I feel terribly bad for neglecting our baby. Forgive me.

This picture reminds me of a quote I got from
K.Sello Duiker's; The quite violence of dreAms book that says "In keeping still we hear more".

Listen to your inner voice
And its perfectly okAy to hAve those silent moments with yourself embedded in your thoughts And dreAms. Embrace And let live

The peculiar memories

As human beings we go through different journeys of life. We meet new people, they leave us some time in our lives, some stay. The important thing is that they leave us with meaningful lessons of life and that they leave a mark in our lives. With this said I would like to go back to the stupid, little things that adds meaning to my life.

The Eastern Cape Captures...

This is our first post for the year 2012, yay..
I went to the Eastern Cape last year in December, I loved every minute I spent there. I always look forward to taking lots of pictures and interacting with the locals. Well but  taking pictures is the most part I enjoy..

There is just something about capturing the souls of other people in pictures that I cant even begin to describe, but what I know is it makes me happy :)

Who said the world was round

As people from the Free State, we've been mocked by people around from other parts of South Africa for the flatness of our land. They said Bloemfontein is so flat, one could even see right into the future. We love it though! This is our Fundi doing what she does best, and our flat land as seen in the background.
(picture taken from Bloemfontein's military museum)
and this here is a picture of one of those old street lamps from Bloemfontein's CBD.
